According to The Sun, the troubled singer is getting royal treatment behind bars at Wormwood Scrubs Prison in London. He has his own cell in a safe unit, and a television and radio at his disposal.
A source told the tabloid, "He is on the segregation unit because of who he is. It’s thought he could be vulnerable. It’s basically the five-star treatment which takes most prisoners weeks of good behaviour to achieve. "
Doherty has only been in prison for one week. He has 13 more weeks to complete his sentence.
There are rumours that Doherty has participated in many activities with other inmates, such as the play "Romeo and Juliet."
