The website UsMagazine.com reported that the 53-year-old comedian was driving alone in his 1967 Fiat BTM, when he realized that his brakes were not working.
While driving in the fast lane where there was a lot of traffic, he tried in vain to hit the emergency brake. He then turned the steering wheel to the right, which caused the vehicle to roll over before landing on the driver’s side. Fortunately, Seinfeld got out without a scratch.
Reflecting on the incident, the comedian commented, "Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do. It is not something I plan to make a habit of."
