The rumours that Ledger has another daughter are completely false, stated the alleged mother’s husband. Following an interview with the late actor’s uncle, rumours spawned that Ledger may be the father of an 11-year-old daughter. The child in question would had been the product of a relationship Ledger had at the age of 17 with a 25-year-old woman.
However, the mother’s new husband insists that this story is false. He added that they can do DNA tests to prove Ledger is not the father.
The unnamed husband stated, "The whole thing with Ledger being the father is not true. No way. No can be. We knew it would flare up and that is the point of my talking and the simple thing is we will do a DNA test. I’m the step-dad, but there’s nothing to hide and if I asked the mother I’m sure that she wouldn’t mind having a DNA test."
The mother, whose identity has not been revealed, did not give any comments.
