Madonna and Sharon Stone are hosting the annual charity gala "Cinema Against AIDS" in Cannes on May 22, in profit of AmfAR, reports Variety.
Stone has been associated with the charity for 15 years. Her dedication has resulted in raising millions of dollars for the cause. This is the first time Stone has teamed up with Madonna. Seal will also be performing at the event.
The day before the event, Madonna’s documentary I Am Because We Are, will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival. The film, directed by Nathan Rissman, tells the story of African children who have lost their parents due to AIDS.
