The singer quickly ended a phone conversation yesterday (March 30) after radio host DJ Reggie Yates suggested that Carey has only sold 80 million albums around the world.
Yates explained, "I think she took that as an insult. That is how the conversation ended with me and Mariah! She took 80 million albums as an insult. She is mad cool."
Mariah Carey has in fact sold 165 million albums worldwide, and is the second best-selling female artist of all time, after Celine Dion.
