According to The Hollywood Reporter, Banks (Spider-Man, The 40 Year Old Virgin) has agreed to play Laura Bush in W, a biographical film about the life and career of controversial American President George W. Bush.
The drama W is a huge project for Oliver Stone, who will be directing and co-writing the screenplay with Stanley Weiser, the writer of the police drama Wall Street.
President Bush will be played by Josh Brolin, and shooting will start at the end of April in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Banks, who just completed filming Zack and Miri Make a Porno, will also star alongside Eddie Murphy in the comedy Meet Dave.
