According to the documents which were made public Monday (March 17), the 26-year-old singer has been ordered to pay Federline’s legal bills.
Scott Gordon, the judge ruling in the Spears/Federline custody case, evaluated that $375 000 was "reasonable," and the star needs to assume this cost since "the actions of [Spears] caused the great majority of litigation."
Last week, Spears’ lawyer Stacy Phillips submitted a request that Federline assume his own fees, explaining that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, charges unreasonable rates knowing Spears has a fortune.
