Richie was very nervous about attending the opening of her new boutique with her partner Joel Madden. It was one of her first public appearances since the birth of her daughter, reported FemaleFirst.
Richie and Madden welcomed Harlow to the world nine weeks ago. Ever since she has become a mother, Richie has withdrawn form the Hollywood scene. Although her friend Paris Hilton was at the opening of the boutique, which was on Friday (March 14), the 26-year-old mother experienced a lot of trepidation.
Richie expressed, "My mom’s with her. It’s fun, but it’s bittersweet because I don’t like to leave her. And I always wonder, ‘What is she doing?’ (I’ve checked in) twice so far – and I’ve only been gone an hour! But this is my adult night so I’m excited to see what the night brings."
