The singer’s adopted son, David Banda, is from Malawi, and FemaleFirst reported that the singer degraded his biological father by stating that David would be dead if they hadn’t saved him.
The star and her husband, Guy Ritchie, created a scandal in this African country in 2006, after complaints were made that David, 2, was taken to England without following official adoption procedures.
Madonna increased the controversy when she told Us Magazine, "He (David) wouldn’t have lived if I hadn’t taken him. It’s not even a possibility."
David’s biological father, Yohana Banda, was insulted by this remark, and a source close to the family explained, "Madonna should choose her words a bit more carefully. To say these things about David’s life before she adopted him is just not right."
