Mick Jagger’s Illness

Keith Richards claims that Mick Jagger is a power freak

Legendary Rolling Stones guitarist stated to Uncut magazine that Mick Jagger has always attempted to dominate the group.  Richards maintains that the musicians were able to adapt to Jagger’s megalomaniac tendencies.

"Mick’s a maniac. He can’t get up in the morning without knowing immediately who he is going to call. He’s a power freak and there’s nothing we can do about it. I don’t want to do anything about it. Let him mess about with it. It doesn’t make a difference to what we do. " Keith Richards accused the flamboyant Mick Jagger of being vain and obsessed with his image. "Excuse me when I laugh. He’s a bit vain let’s put it like that. But we want a vain bloke up there, don’t we? Meanwhile the band can go to work. Vanity will not carry a band, but a band can carry vanity."

The Rolling Stones, was formed in 1963 and became one of the most popular bands in the 60’s.  Today, the 60 year-old band members can still work a crowd.
