According to People, the guests at Ashton Kutcher’s 30th birthday party at Socialista in New York on February 7 must all be vaccinated for the disease. One of the bar’s employees has been diagnosed with hepatitis A.
Bruce Willis, Gwyneth Paltrow and Salma Hayek were also at the party, along with several other stars.
"We are asking these bar patrons to get this vaccination as a precautionary measure," said Dr. Sharon Balter, medical epidemiologist at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Hepatitis A can be treated, but can cause illness in an infected person for a long time.
