Kidman will not be giving birth for a few more months, but thinks her career can affect her child, reported People.
The 40-year-old star, who is expecting her first biological child with husband Keith Urban, stated, "I think once you have children, you want to balance the work you do. Occasionally you want to make films that they can take their friends to, [that] they can go to the premiere of, that they celebrate."
Although Kidman recognizes she has made some films for mature audiences, she explained that her adopted children appreciated her latest film, The Golden Compass.
Kidman added, "My Bella and Connor are 13 and 15, so they have seen the film. And they loved it. My child inside won’t see the film for a long time."
