More Dates Added to Broken Social Scene Tour

Broken Social Scene will visit several countries for their upcoming tour.

The band has expanded their world tour, which begins on February 20 in Auckland, New Zealand, reports Pitchfork.

In addition to shows in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore, the Canadian indie rock band will perform in Russia, Turkey, Taiwan, Mexico, United Kingdom, France and the United States.  Broken Social Scene will also be participating in several summer music festivals.

Group co-founder Brendan Canning will also be releasing a solo disc under the Arts & Crafts label, on May 27.  The same label released the last CD from Broken Social Scene called Broken Social Scene in 2005.

Jason Collett, who has collaborated with Broken Social Scene in the past, released his disc Here’s to Being Here under the same label.
