Weisz will be playing opposite Ashraf Barhom (The Kingdom) and Oscar Isaac (The Nativity Story) in this Alejandro Amenabar film. The director also wrote the movie which will be shot in Malta.
The story shows a slave (Isaac) who turns to Christianity and falls in love with his master (Weisz) who is a philosophy teacher, and an atheist. Barhom will be playing a Christian monk.
