The celebrity parents have two children, Apple, 3, and Moses, 1, and would like to adopt a child from New York.
Paltrow revealed, "We might get one from Brooklyn. No baby is more helpless than another baby. And I’m a New York girl. People who have a lot often feel they have a lot to give."
Chris Martin, singer of Coldplay, was more favourable to the idea of adopting, and managed to convince his wife. The 35-year-old actress had always dreamed of a big family but was thinking of waiting a few more years. "Maybe in four years I’ll have two in a row really quickly."
In the meantime, Paltrow is starring in Iron Man, which will be in theatres on May 2.
