With his disc Shock Value receiving five Grammy nominations, Timbaland has now announced that he will do an album available only on V Cast, a service available through Verizon mobile phones.
Timbaland told Billboard of his plans, "Every place don’t get a CD [but] everybody has a mobile phone. Just producing a mobile album has never been done. I’m the first to ever do it."
The singer and producer will release a new song each month for Verizon Mobile, which is available across the United States.
Timbaland will be collaborating with other artists. His first release will be with Keri Hilson. OneRepublic, Paramore and Flo Rida may also work with Timbaland on this album.
