Dane, who plays in the television show Grey’s Anatomy, was diagnosed with skin cancer last month, reported PerezHilton.com. After getting treated successfully, the actor spoke about his experience to OK! magazine.
The star had detected that there was a problem when his lips seemed unusually chapped. “I didn’t eat very well for a couple of weeks and lost a bunch of weight,” he stated.
Dane explained, “I went to my dermatologist. He said it was malignant tissue caused by sun damage."
The malignant tissue was treated with liquid nitrogen. Unfortunately, the actor had a poor reaction to the treatment and had difficulty eating because it was painful. Dane is doing much better now.
