According to The Hollywood Reporter, Murphy, who is beginning to work on the movie Across the Hall today (February 6), may also be replacing Lindsay Lohan in the dark comedy Poor Things.
In the movie Across the Hall, the young actress will be playing opposite Mike Vogel (Cloverfield) and Danny Pino (The Burning Plain). This movie shows the brutal standoff between a young man (Vogel), his fiancée, and his best friend (Pino). It is based on the short film by director Alex Merkin, which came out in 2005.
Murphy may also play in the movie Poor Things, with a cast that includes Shirley MacLaine, Olympia Dukakis, Rosario Dawson and Channing Tatum. Negotiations for this movie have not yet begun.
