Robbie Williams Dumps Guy Chambers

Robbie Williams dumped his songwriter Guy Chambers when he discovered that Chambers was working with Gary Barlow.

According to FemaleFirst, the singer of Rudebox had an argument with Chambers when he learned that he was working with his rival, Gary Barlow, from the group Take That.

Williams and Chambers worked on five albums together before going their separate ways in 2002, when the singer signed a contract with EMI. Williams then asked Chambers to work with him on his album Rudebox in 2006.

A source told the British paper The Sun, "Robbie and Guy patched up their differences last year. They had been back in the studio trying to find the spark that produced Rob’s best material. They gave it a go but it didn’t work out – they had both moved on. But while they were working together in Los Angeles, Guy was asked to work as part of a team with Gary on a new TV show."

While they were working together, Chambers was asked to work with Barlow on the new musical drama Britannia High (ITV). "He never mentioned it to Robbie. Rob heard Gary was in Los Angeles working and found out it was with Guy. He wasn’t best pleased when he heard," the source added.
