The Center for International Studies and Cooperation and TransFair Canada are pleased with the arrival of a new certified product in Canada; shea butter.
This initiative is the work of the Society of Agri-Management Delapointe, which offers some beauty products with a shea butter base including lip balm, body milk and massage balm.
Praxède Lévesque, the company’s president, explained, "Shea butter is a natural African product that Canadian consumers will enjoy discovering. It has many benefits for the entire body: it hydrates, protects and soothes the skin, lips and hair."
According to the Center for International Studies and Cooperation, the shea butter trade is very promising in Canada.
