According to Variety, Reeves has many projects underway. In addition to being in talks with Paramount for a sequel to the suspense/action film Cloverfield, he is also directing the movie The Invisible Woman.
Despite the fact that Cloverfield has a largely unknown cast, the movie, which cost $25 million, made $46 million at the box-office the first weekend it was released in the United States. It beat records during the weekend which ended with Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Paramount is trying to make an agreement with Reeves, producer J.J. Abrams, and screenwriter Drew Goddard, to do the sequel.
Reeves will only be directing the movie if his schedule permits. The Invisible Woman, which was written by Reeves, needs to start filming. This movie is like an Alfred Hitchcock thriller, which shows a beauty queen that turns to crime to protect her family.
