There have been rumours that the New Kids on the Block, who started the trend of "boy bands", will reunite after 14 years apart. The rumours have been substantiated with a new single released by the band that can be heard on the New Kids on the Block website.
The new untitled single has a promotional video which shows highlights of the group’s career, and notably the music that "influenced a generation".
The video concludes with "Are you ready?" This may indicate that there is more to come from the band. A source reported that the single was recorded last November in Orlando.
