McConaughey, who worked with Hudson in the movie, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), said he would have made a move if they were single at that time. McConaughey revealed this information during an interview in which they were promoting their new film, Fool’s Gold.
Hudson asked McConaughey during the interview, "Do you think if I hadn’t been married (to Chris Robinson) on How To Lose A Guy, you’d have gone in for the kill?"
McConaughey replied, "If we were both single back then, sure."
Hudson stated that they behaved like a married couple on the set. "We can tell each other when we can’t stand each other. I can run and grab him and go, ‘I love you so much’ and then I could tell him he’s driving me crazy," added the blonde beauty.
McConaughey and Hudson play a couple on the verge of breaking up in the movie Fool’s Gold. It will be in theatres on February 8.
