The producers of the movie Blue Valentine are very supportive of Williams’ state. They are willing to give her the time necessary to grieve the death of Heath Ledger.
One of the members of production told People, "We will hold off until she is ready. The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her."
The team was scheduled to be on the set on February 25. Hunting Lane Studios has not determined an exact date to reschedule shooting of the film.
The same source from production explained, "We’re hoping she will still come back and do the film and are happy to wait. The film is tailor made for her so of course we would want to wait."
Blue Valentine tells the story of a couple on the verge of divorcing. Ryan Gosling will play Williams’ husband in the movie. In fact, there are rumours that Williams is dating the Canadian actor after the two were spotted taking a walk in New York together.
Williams recently completed the movie Mammoth, which was filmed in Sweden.
