The actress will be playing opposite Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in the movie Public Enemies, reported Variety.
The French actress, who is up for an Oscar for her performance in La vie en rose, will play the girlfriend of the most notorious gangster in the United States, John Dillinger (Johnny Depp).
This suspense/drama directed by Michael Mann (Miami Vice), takes place in the 1930s, when organized crime was increasing. It tells the story of the attempts made to arrest the renowned gangsters, John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd.
Actors Channing Tatum, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Dorff and Jason Clarke will also be part of the movie, which begins shooting on March 10 in Chicago.
