Several artists have confirmed their participation for the 50th annual awards ceremony, which will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be televised on CBS. Among the stars performing, there will be Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé and the Foo Fighters. There will also be a new segment called My Grammy Moment, during which unknown musicians will share the stage with the Foo Fighters.
The legendary R&B singer Aretha Franklin will also perform with Mary J. Blige, the Clark Sisters, Israel And New Breed, the Madison Bumblebees and Trin-I-Tee 5:7, for a gospel segment.
Rihanna will be performing with the band, The Time.
