A DVD from Jane’s Addiction

Jane’s Addiction percussionist Stephen Perkins would like to release a DVD of the band’s concerts.

Perkins, the drummer of the former Los Angeles band, told Billboard that the group will be putting together a DVD of concert footage.  Jane’s Addiction will be working with Warner Bros. on the project.

"We’re working on it. We’re hoping to step it up into kind of a more ‘collector’s item’ sort of situation," said Perkins.  He hopes that the compilation DVD will be released this summer, but feels that fall would be more realistic.

Meanwhile, the drummer is sorting through his personal collection of Jane’s Addiction footage.  Among his favourite clips is the 1991 performance at Lollapalooza of their hits Ted, Just Admit It and Ocean Size.  Other clips to be included are Soul Kiss, Gift and Three Days.

When asked about the possibility of a reunion for Jane’s Addiction, Perkins said, "There is talk always about it, but I guess talk is one thing. We’re not up to that point anywhere."
