Movie About the Life of Leonard Chess

Adrien Brody and Jeffrey Wright will be playing in a movie about the life of Leonard Chess.

Brody and Wright will be playing two legends in the music industry in the film Cadillac Records, by Sony BMG.

Brody will play Leonard Chess, the founder of an R&B record company, Cadillac Records, while Wright will play Muddy Waters. Other actors in the movie are Tammy Blanchard, Columbus Short, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Cedric the Entertainer.

Director and screenwriter, Darnell Martin will explore Chicago in the 1950s, when the two main characters of the movie were in contact with Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf and Elvis Presley.  Filming will start in March in New Jersey and Mississippi.

In the meantime Brody can be seen on the big screen on April 11 in The Brothers Bloom, alongside Rachel Weisz and Mark Ruffalo.
