FemaleFirst reported that Martin, who has previously expressed feeling under pressure with the production of this new album, underwent hypnosis to have better success with the album Prospekt, than the group had with X&Y.
Martin stated, "We feel like we have so much to prove and so many ideas that we’d like to try – sometimes you need a hypnotist to give you the bravery to do it. It was fun and interesting and we wrote some nice things as a result of it."
The musician revealed that the band members are trying not to be affected by the comments given by critics.
