According to Comingsoon.net, the project, called Superman: Man of Steel, will probably be directed by Bryan Singer, who wrote the screenplay, and will not include Routh in the role of Clark Kent, alias Superman.
The film has already had its share of problems. Superman Returns writers Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris have already pulled out of the project.
Brandon Routh, 28, is currently filming The Informers with Winona Ryder and Billy Bob Thornton. We can see him in 2008 in the films Lie to Me and Life Is Hot in Cracktown.
