Showbizz.net reported that Drum! magazine chose Neil Peart from the Canadian group Rush as drummer of the year.
Peart won four other awards as part of Drummies 2007. These included Progressive Rock Drummer, Drummer in Concert, DVD for Anatomy of a Drum Solo and Drummer for an Album for Snakes & Arrows.
