FashionMag.com reports that the collection for 2008-2009 will be the last creation for Baldessarini. The designer has sold his company to the German company Alhers, after buying Hugo Boss last August.
The new owners of the brand will broaden the range of ready-to-wear fashions and develop the company on an international level. One of their projects for 2008 is to launch a second collection, created by designers Karl Zimmerman and Markus Brunner, which will be priced at 30% to 40% less than their other collections.
