Once again, the beauty from Barbados is denying that she is romantically involved with the American actor.
Rihanna, 19, told Allure magazine for its January issue, "This is what really happened. He and my management, they have each other’s contact information. I went to [the New York club] Pink Elephant, and he came by. All of a sudden, the next day, I’m seeing that we were kissing and hugging up each other."
The rumour gained momentum after Hartnett was interviewed on the television show The Morning Show with Mike and Julie. When the 29-year-old star was questioned about his relationship with Rihanna, he hesitated, which certainly didn’t help to stop the rumours.
The singer added that her celebrity status comes with more than just advantages. She said, "You can’t even go out with a friend who’s a celebrity and have a good time without people making [bleep] up."
Thanks to her platinum album, Good Girl Gone Bad, and its hit Umbrella, Rihanna has earned six nominations for the upcoming Grammy Awards, which will take place on February 10.
