CosmeticNews reported that JV Fragrances & Skincare, owned by Shiseido International Corporation, will be launching their first line of fragrances for women by designer John Varvatos.
Varvatos made this fragrance for the urban, independent, always young with a free spirit and strong-willed woman. To create the perfect scent, Varvatos worked with Rodrigo Flores-Roux from Givaudan. The collection will offer a perfume, body lotion and body oil with exfoliants.
The perfume will be released on February 1. It will be available exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue and John Varvatos boutiques. The rest of the collection will be released on March 1 at Saks and will then be made available at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Sephora stores, on April 15.
It will become available in about 500 boutiques across North America in the fall of 2008. The European launch will be around this time and will be followed by an ad campaign, featuring model Louise Pederson.
