The Sri Lankan artist unveiled another part of her album Kala, with the premiere of the video Paper Planes. This original song has a tribal sound. The artist recorded the song in the four corners of the earth–India, Jamaica, Japan and Australia.
M.I.A.’s music was composed by many well-respected artists such as Diplo, Switch, Danja and Timbaland, with lyrics that denounce social and political issues.
M.I.A.’s first album, Arular, was released in 2005.
