Renee Zellweger Is Concerned for Her Health

Actress Renee Zellweger believes that playing Bridget Jones again will be bad for her health.

The actress gained 28 pounds to play the lead role in the films Bridget Jones’ Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and then quickly lost the weight.  Zellweger admits that the rapid change in diet is not healthy.

The actress said, "My body is whacked by the time we finish one of those. Did you see that movie about fast food, ‘Supersize Me’? I had a panic attack with all the specialists talking about how bad this is for you, long-term, putting on that much weight in short periods of time."

Despite her concerns, Zellweger would consider returning to her role if author Helen Fielding writes new material.  Zellweger added, "In Hollywood you never say never. Maybe I will do a third one. It depends if it works into my life and if it’s interesting."
