According to FemaleFirst, the star of the former television series Baywatch has been battling alcoholism for several years. Hasselhoff was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on December 3rd and 5th. The actor has been hospitalized four times in the past two months.
The National Enquirer reports that the actor has been diagnosed with alcohol poisoning on two occasions. A source said, "He goes into the hospital with alcohol poisoning, comes out and says he’s cured, then does it again."
Hasselhoff, who has full custody of his two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, believes that he is a better caregiver for the children than his ex-wife.
