Kevin Federline’s attorney announced that Britney Spears did not attend her scheduled court appearance yesterday due to illness, according to People magazine.
Mark Vincent Kaplan said as he was leaving his Los Angeles office, "I was told of a general [medical] condition, and [Spears] felt she couldn’t attend."
Sam Lutfi, a friend of the singer, wrote an email to People saying, "She’s sick, both physically and high anxiety. Millions of press outside. It’s too much."
A new date was set for the deposition, although it has not been announced. Federline’s attorney stated that he will take sanctions against Spears if she does not attend the next scheduled court date.
