Alex Proyas (The Crow, I, Robot) will be directing Nicolas Cage in the suspense movie Knowing.
Cage will be playing a professor hired to analyse a time capsule found at his son’s elementary school. His observations lead him to conclude that the end of the world is near.
For the screenplay, Escape Artists collaborated with Ryne Pearson. The final version of the screenplay was done by Stiles White and Juliet Snowden. The studio has scheduled filming to begin in March, in Melbourne, Australia.
In the meantime, Nicolas Cage fans can see the star in the role of Ben Gates in the movie National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which will be in theatres on December 21.
