The R&B singer was scheduled to perform at the NEC arena in Birmingham yesterday evening as part of her Good Girl Gone Bad.
The reason her doctor ordered her to get some rest will be revealed in the near future. The singer’s rep has not commented.
A spokesperson for NEC stated, "As per Rihanna’s doctor’s instructions, Rihanna will be unable to perform. Rihanna plans to reschedule this date as soon as possible. She appreciates the love and support of all her fans and wants nothing more than to see and connect with them. We apologise for any inconvenience."
The 19-year-old star also cancelled a concert at Nottingham arena on December 8, as well as a concert on December 11 at Bournemouth International Center.
