New Line released the first trailer for the movie starring Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany, Jim Broadbent, Helen Mirren, Andy Serkis, Rafi Gavron and Sienna Guillory, under the direction of Iain Softley.
This movie tells the story of Meggie Folchart, a young girl whose father is able to make the characters from his book come to life. One of these characters, along with his team of robbers, kidnaps Meggie and her father.
The screenplay was written by David Lindsay-Abaire, which was based on the book by German author, Cornelia Funke. It was published last year in the United States.
The movie will be in theatres on March 19.
