Paramount Pictures has gotten the right to do a movie based on the memoirs of intelligence operative, Kathi Lynn Austin and her work involving arms trafficking and terrorism. Jolie will have the starring role in this suspense, action film.
Austin, who worked for the U.N. Security Council did many field missions in Africa, Europe, Asia and Central America. The movie focuses on a fictional character, Victor Bout, a Russian considered to be the world’s most prolific arms dealer.
The movie is being produced by Geyer Kosinski. The production company has to wait for the screenplay because of the screenwriter’s strike.
