At a recent concert at the Knitting Factory in New York, Jason Darr from the Canadian group, sang the song, So Many People, stating that Wentz sent the group a letter about this song.
The New York Post reported that Wentz took legal action against this band, but the rep for the singer from Fall Out Boy told People that these rumours were false.
The rep claimed, "I’ve never heard of [the song]. Pete’s never heard of it. No one’s ever heard of it. Pete’s not the kind of guy who would do a cease or desist with anything. He believes in artistic freedom."
The song So Many People pokes fun at Ashlee Simpson’s appearance on Saturday Night Live in 2005. Darr stated that the comment made during the concert was a joke.
