People reported that Weiland, 40, who has been fighting his substance abuse for quite some time, was arrested after failing an alcohol test on November 11.
The musician was detained at Van Nuys prison where he refused to undergo a blood or urine test.
Weiland was ordered to pay $40 000 and will be back in court on December 13.
