Chad Kroeger Pleads Not Guilty

Chad Kroeger is pleading not guilty to charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The singer of the group Nickelback, Chad Kroeger, was arrested in British Columbia on June 22, 2006, after the police noticed reckless driving. A blood test showed that his alcohol level was higher than the acceptable level.

At a hearing in Surrey, last Wednesday, November 21, Kroeger’s lawyer submitted his not guilty plea. If the singer is found guilty, he may have to pay a fine of $600.00 and have a suspended driver’s license for one year.
