The Michelin Guide gave at least one star to each of the 150 establishments visited in Japan. Cyberpresse reported that this is the first time in 108 years they receive this by the famous French guide.
There were 8 restaurants that received 3 stars. Two stars were given to 25 restaurants and 17 received one star.
The 191 stars given in Tokyo represent almost double of that given to restaurants in Paris and triple to that of New York.
