People magazine reported that Rhys Meyers was arrested yesterday for disrupting in public. He was under the influence of alcohol and tried to take a flight to England.
Rhys Meyers, 30, was denied access to a flight from Dublin when the police observed behaviour that was atypical and out of control.
Airport security officials informed the authorities in Ireland when the actor refused to settle down after numerous requests for him to calm himself.
The actor was detained briefly, but will appear in court on December 5.
