In an interview that will appear in the December edition of In Style magazine, the 26 year-old actress talked of marriage. She said, "I’m not convinced about marriage. Divorce is so easy, and that fact that gay people are not allowed to marry takes much of the meaning out of it. … Committing yourself to one person is sacred."
Although the star is dating Nathan Bogle, she refused to divulge details about her love life. She did share what she believes would make a perfect partner for her. Portman said it would be, "someone who pulls me up to high standards, and who is aware of what’s going on in themselves and in the world."
Natalie Portman will soon make her directorial debut in the film A Tale of Love and Darkness.
