A spokesperson for the star told People magazine that Thomas Boone Quaid and Zoe Grace Quaid were born on Thursday (November 8) in Santa Monica, California.
The baby boy weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces. Two minutes later, his sister arrived weighing 5 pounds, 9 ounces.
A statement released by the proud parents said, "God has definitely blessed us. We are both so thrilled and excited. This is something we’ve wanted for some time."
The twins are the second and third children for Quaid. The 53 year-old actor is also the father of Jack Henry, his 17 year-old son from his marriage to actress Meg Ryan.
