At a court hearing on Thursday (November 8), a lawyer for Kevin Federline revealed that Spears has not been present for 8 out of 14 calls for laboratory testing to see if the star has used drugs.
Judge Scott Gordon reprimanded Spears for changing her telephone number frequently.
Anne Kiley, a lawyer for Spears, said that the drug tests are unconstitutional. Kiley also indicated that her client is not guilty of using drugs simply by being absent for the tests, which have shown ten times that her stomach was empty. Kiley also justified the frequent phone number changes as necessary due to Spears’ celebrity status.
Both sides must now come to an agreement on the drug testing, and must give their decision to the judge. Spears and Federline will be in court again on November 26.
